Multispectral Thermal & Digital Imaging

The GTD215 combines two dedicated imaging technologies within a single observation device.

The thermal imaging channel detects infrared energy emitted by people, animals, equipment and other objects. Because it detects heat rather than depending on visible illumination, the thermal channel can produce an image in darkness.

The separate 2K CMOS digital imaging channel provides conventional scene information for daytime and low-light observation.

Together, the two channels provide:

  • Thermal observation
  • Digital day/night observation
  • Thermal and visible-light fusion
  • Picture-in-Picture viewing

256 × 192 Thermal Imaging

The GTD215 uses a 256 × 192 thermal detector with a 12 μm pixel pitch.

The thermal system detects temperature differences within the observed environment and converts them into a visible thermal image.

This provides effective heat-source observation without requiring conventional visible illumination.

2K Digital Day & Night Camera

The separate 2K CMOS camera provides conventional digital scene imaging alongside the thermal system.

This provides additional environmental detail when observing landscapes, wildlife, properties and other outdoor scenes.

The digital camera operates separately from the 256×192 thermal detector, giving users access to two distinct imaging technologies within the same device.

15mm & 19mm Lens Options

The GTD215 is available with 15mm and 19mm objective lens configurations.

The two options provide flexibility when choosing a GTD215 configuration for different observation requirements.

Each lens should be offered as a clearly identified product variant on your website:

15mm Lens
19mm Lens

Up to 1,000m Thermal Detection

The GTD215 provides a listed thermal detection distance of up to approximately 1,000 metres.

This gives the device long-distance heat-source detection capability for outdoor environments.

The 1,000m specification represents thermal detection distance, which refers to detecting the presence of a heat source rather than guaranteed recognition or positive identification at that distance.

Dual-Light Fusion

The GTD215 supports dual-light fusion, combining thermal information with visible-light scene detail.

Fusion imaging provides additional environmental context while retaining thermal information, making complex scenes easier to interpret.

Picture-in-Picture Viewing

Built-in Picture-in-Picture (PIP) functionality provides additional viewing flexibility using the device's multispectral imaging system.

The GTD215 includes two listed PIP modes.

Thermal & Digital Magnification

The thermal imaging channel provides selectable:

1X / 2X / 3X / 4X

The digital day/night channel provides:

1X / 2.5X / 5X

Digital enlargement increases the apparent size of subjects displayed on screen while maintaining the native resolution of the respective imaging sensor.

800 × 600 LCD Display

Thermal, digital and fusion imagery is presented through an integrated 800 × 600 LCD display.

The display provides six brightness levels, allowing screen brightness to be adjusted for different viewing environments.

The 800×600 specification represents the display resolution and is separate from the 256×192 thermal detector resolution.

Recording & 16GB Internal Storage

The GTD215 supports:

  • Photo recording
  • Video recording
  • Audio recording
  • 16GB internal storage

The built-in storage provides convenient space for captured observation media without requiring separate storage for normal operation.

Wi-Fi Connectivity

Built-in Wi-Fi provides wireless connectivity between the GTD215 and compatible smart devices.

This adds connected functionality to the thermal and digital observation system.

Removable Rechargeable Battery

The GTD215 uses a removable rechargeable 18350 battery and provides approximately four hours of listed operating time.

The removable design also provides convenient access to the battery system.

IPX6 Water Resistance

The GTD215 carries an IPX6 water-resistance rating, providing resistance to powerful water jets under defined conditions.

IPX6 is a water-resistance classification and does not indicate that the device is designed for underwater use.

Compact Outdoor Design

With dimensions of approximately 127 × 68 × 60mm and a listed weight of approximately 480g, the GTD215 combines its multispectral imaging technology in a compact portable housing.

Suitable Applications

The GTD215 is suitable for:

  • Wildlife observation
  • Farm monitoring
  • Property inspection
  • Outdoor observation
  • Search-support activities
  • Day and night observation
  • Camping and exploration
  • Equipment monitoring
  • Heat-source detection
  • General outdoor monitoring

Safety & Care

Avoid pointing the thermal detector or digital camera directly at the sun, lasers, welding arcs or other intense energy sources, as these can damage the imaging sensors.

Use compatible batteries, chargers and accessories, and keep protective port covers properly closed during outdoor operation.
